چکیده
The endotelio- and cardioprotective effects of vitamin B6 (2 mg/kg) folic acid (0.2 upon modeling methionine-induced hyperhomocysteinemia via methionine intragastric administration at a dose 3 g/kg were studied. It was shown that the combined use allows on background significant reduction in homocysteine concentrations normalizing endothelial dysfunction coefficient parameters maximum left ventricular pressure response to intravenous adrenaline. research partially supported by grant President Russian Federation №MD-4711.2015.7.

PREVENTIVE EFFECTS OF VITAMIN B12 AND FOLIC ACID IN METHANOL-INDUCED RETINOPATHY IN AN ANIMAL MODEL
In order to identify the effects of vitamin B 12 and folic acid in reducing methanolinduced retinopathy, ERG waves were compared before and after methanol intoxication in rabbits. In this study 34 rabbits were divided into 4 groups. All groups received 4 g/kg of methanol intraperitoneally. In addition, the second, third and fourth groups received vitamin B 12 injection, oral folic acid and ...
متن کاملEffect of Folic Acid on Hematological Changes in Methionine-Induced Hyperhomocysteinemia in Rats
The present study was designed to investigate the effect of folic acid on homocysteine, lipid profile and hematological changes in methionine-induced hyperhomocysteinemic rats. Hyperhomocysteinemia was induced by methionine (1 g/kg, p.o.) administration for 30 days. Biochemical and hematological observations were further substantiated with histopathological examination. The increase in homocyst...
